General Information for Biomedical Molecular Imaging 2012 & The Second Molecular Imaging Center Symposium

 

1. Registration

The Registration Desk will open from 9:00am at 7F Salon (7F交誼廳) on Dec 10th.

3. Transportation
3.1 Pick-up service (NTU→Wulai)
The bus will depart at 8:00am sharp on Dec. 10th at the Main Entrance of National Taiwan University (No.1, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Road). The pick-up service is only for the registrated participants. 
For the return trip, bus will depart at 5:00pm on Dec. 11th after the closing ceremony and will stop at the Main Entrance of National Taiwan University (No.1, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Road).
3.2 Drive by yourself
The Naluwan Resort Hotel does not provide private parking lot, while there is a public parking lot near the hotel. 
 
4. Hotel information
4.1 Check-in
The check-in time is 1:00pm at the Registration Desk (7F交誼廳). When you arrive in the morning, you are advised to leave your luggage at 1F Lobby. The room key and your breakfast voucher (Dec.11th) will be delivered to you after the lunch.
4.2 Check-out
Please check out by yourself. The check-out time is by 12:00pm at the Reception Hall (1F Lobby). You can leave your luggage at 1F Lobby after you check out. 
4.3 Internet Service
The Naluwan Resort Hotel provides free wireless LAN service at the 7F International Conference Hall and the 1F Lobby. Other areas do not provide internet service.
 
5. Meals
5.1 Breakfast
If you stay at Naluwan Resort Hotel, the breakfast will be between 8:00 am to 9:30am at the 3F Restaurant(3F活力村). You will be asked for the breakfast voucher. 
5.2 Lunch
The lunch will be provided at the 3F Restaurant (3F活力村) for Dec.10th & 11th.
5.3 Dinner
Banquet will be held at 6:00pm on Dec 10th at the 3F Restaurant (3F活力村). A mini-concert will be held. 
 
6. Presentation Guidelines
6.1 Oral Presentation
For plenary speakers, you will have 40 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
For keynote speakers, you will have 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
For invited speakers, you will have 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
Please check your Laptop before your session. If you bring your file with USB, it would be very appreciated to sumbit your file at the registration desk before your session starts. 
 
7. Awards
Best Poster Presentations will be awarded in the closing ceremony on Dec.11th.
 
8. Poster Presentation
The poster size should not exceed 90cm*90cm. Your poster number is printed on the proceedings. Please follow the allocated number and tag your poster on the board prepared in the 7F Salon. For each poster, at least one author is required to be present at the poster site during the poster session. 
 
9. Show & Mini-Concert
9.1 GAGA Show 
GAGA Show is arranged by the Naluwan Resort Hotel, which will be held from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Dec 10th at 2F (活力村). 
9.2 Mini-Concert
We are honored to have a special guest violinist Zhanna Kudryavtseva for a 30 minutes mini-concert during the banquet.
 
Zhanna Kudryavtseva, violinist
Zhanna Kudryavtseva graduated from St. Petersburg Conservatory in 1995. She played as violinist and solo violinist in State Chamber Vivaldi Orchestra (Moscow, Russia) from 1995 to 2011. Also Zhanna took part in different musicals (Nord-Ost, Beauty and the Beast, Zorro, Sound of Musics and others).
Currently she plays in Moscow for Sofia Symphony Orchestra and Theater of Musicals as solo violinist. Zhanna also performs individual and group (string quartet, piano duet) programs of classical and popular music.
